Munduk Activity And Itinerary

Hello travelers, I’m Ciko, a local boy. I’d like to recommend some beautiful spots to visit in the Munduk area. The main activities when you stay in Munduk include waterfall trekking, jungle trekking and canoeing, visiting rice fields and Hindu temples, watching dolphins at Lovina Beach, and don’t forget to try the original coffee from Munduk.

If your hotel is located in the central Munduk area, I highly recommend doing a waterfall trekking tour. Here are the must-visit waterfalls in the Munduk area:

  • Golden Valley Waterfall
  • Red Coral Waterfall
  • Labuan Kebo Waterfall
  • Melanting Waterfall

To visit all the waterfalls mentioned above, you’ll need around 2 to 3 hours, depending on how fast you walk. If your hotel is located in central Munduk, you can start your journey from Golden Valley Waterfall. I recommend asking the hotel staff to drop you off at the starting point of Golden Valley Waterfall, as the roads in Munduk are quite steep—it’s better to get there by motorbike or car.

As shown on the map above, your route will begin at Golden Valley Waterfall and continue to Red Coral Waterfall, then Labuan Kebo Waterfall, and finally Melanting Waterfall. All of these waterfalls are located in the same area, so you can simply follow the water stream to visit them one by one.

From Melanting Waterfall, you don’t need to go back to the starting point. There is a shortcut from Melanting that will lead you directly back to central Munduk.
